A tecnologia pode aproximar verdadeiramente as pessoas?
\n<\/span><\/strong>
\nOs alunos do 7º ano do Colégio Miguel de Cervantes estão comprovando que a resposta é sim. Orientados pela Teacher <\/em>Dulce Nogueira, professora de Inglês do 3º ciclo do Ensino Fundamental, esses nativos digitais e usuários assíduos das tecnologias da comunicação, interagem agora com estudantes da Turquia para expandir conhecimentos por meio de uma proposta de trabalho interdisciplinar, virtual e colaborativa. É uma oportunidade de compartilhar o cotidiano de adolescentes de um outro país, relacionando e discutindo os problemas ambientais comuns na busca de soluções sustentáveis.<\/p>\n

Na etapa inicial do projeto, o intercâmbio de informações é feito por e-mail, em inglês, utilizando a plataforma ePals Global Community<\/a><\/em>1<\/sup><\/span>, um ambiente virtual de compartilhamento gratuito, seguro e controlado. Nessa fase, além do estímulo ao desenvolvimento da competência linguística no idioma, a redação de textos ganha um sentido verdadeiramente autoral, na medida em que seus autores regulam sua produção escrita a partir da existência concreta de um interlocutor real e de sua interação com ele, colocando o sentido comunicativo da linguagem em primeiro plano e acima do seu aspecto meramente formal. Em outras palavras, produzir um texto deixa de ser um exercício mecânico da correta disposição das partes de uma estrutura a ser montada e passa a ser dizer algo a alguém com uma intencionalidade clara e objetiva (Simões, 2012). <\/p>\n

Ao final, os alunos e seus novos e-pals produzirão apresentações em parceria sobre os conhecimentos mutuamente construídos sobre suas respectivas realidades, cujas etapas e resultado poderão ser acompanhados e conferidos nesta página web.<\/p>\n

Compartilhando distantes saberes aproximados pela tecnologia, os envolvidos nesse projeto serão capazes de identificar as semelhanças entre distintas culturas e, acima de tudo, de compreender e relativizar as diferenças existentes entre diferentes modos de vida: um passo importante em direção a uma convivência mais harmoniosa.<\/p>\n


\nCan technology truly bring people together?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/em>Students in the 7th grade of Colégio Miguel Cervantes are proving that the answer is yes. Guided by Dulce Stoll Nogueira, their English teacher, these digital natives and usual users of the technology of communication, they are now interacting with students in Turkey to expand knowledge through a proposed interdisciplinary, collaborative and virtual project. It is an opportunity to share the daily life with teenagers from another country, listing and discussing the common environmental problems in the search for sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n

In the initial stage of the project, the information exchange is done by e-mail, in English, using the platform ePals Global Community , which is a free, safe and controlled virtual environment. In this phase, besides encouraging the development of linguistic competence in the language, the writing of texts really gain a sense of authorship as the authors regulate their production based on the concrete existence of a real interlocutor and their interaction with him, putting the meaning of communicative language in the foreground and above its purely formal aspect. In other words, producing a text ceases to be a mechanical exercise about a proper arrangement of parts of a structure to be assembled and becomes something to say to someone with a clear intent and objective. (Simões, 2012).<\/p>\n

At the end, the students and their new e-pals produce presentations in partnership on the mutually constructed knowledge about their realities, whose steps and results can be monitored and checked on this site.<\/p>\n

Sharing distant knowledge approximated by technology, the students involved in this project will be able to identify similarities between different cultures and, above all, to understand and to relativize the differences in diversified ways of life: an important step toward a more harmonious coexistence.<\/em><\/p>\n
